Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to read the menu, get to know the restaurant and contact us through this site, including people who use a screen reader, only a keyboard, browser zoom or prefer less motion.

Our goal

The site is designed and reviewed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, in the spirit of Costa Rica’s Law 7600 on Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities.

What we did

• Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible focus and a link to skip to the content.
• Text has enough contrast and grows with browser zoom without losing content.
• Images have text alternatives; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
• If your device asks for reduced motion, animations are removed. The sea video on the home page has a pause button.
• Each page declares its language, in Spanish and English.
• The Google map only loads if you ask for it; the address and the “Get directions” link are always in text.

Known limitations

• Some photos are illustrative images and are marked as such.
• Google Maps, WhatsApp and social media are third-party services: their accessibility is outside our control.
• There are no per-dish allergens yet: please ask our staff before you order.
